USA North Soccer is a Premier Competitive Soccer Club representing more than just the North Knoxville area. Our players come from throughout the greater East Tennessee area to unite as a formidable club for our players and teams. It is Our Mission to fully develop every aspect of a player’s individual technical abilities, team tactical awareness, physical conditioning, and mental fortitude to prepare them for the opportunity to play at all levels from high school through the college level and beyond. Our Player Development Programs (PDP) offer the most affordable and comprehensive training available in the greater Knoxville area. Being a member of USA North opens the door to consistent and continuous training throughout the year from a dedicated and highly qualified staff.
Our Club is well developed with teams for all age groups and an experienced staff of qualified coaches and trainers to meet the needs of each player and team. Club soccer provides players the opportunity to compete against different teams from our area and across the state through seasons in our local East Tennessee League known as VESL (Volunteer Elite Soccer League) as a Charter club in the league. Our tournament teams compete in tournaments in a 1.5 to 3.5 hour radius of travel several times a season. North Academy has produced more than 50 Collegiate Players and has won multiple state titles, state league championships, and finalists throughout its history. Our coaches include multiple collegiate coaches, former Directors of other local clubs, Founding members of other local clubs and collectively have over 200 years of coaching experience to bring knowledge and dedication to your child.
USA North will provide the best and most complete training in technical, tactical, and athletic player development while engendering a passion for the game and enabling personal growth. USANorth Club strives to make its Player Development Programs available to all youth players who have a sincere desire to learn to play soccer at a competitive level. We have an active scholarship program providing financial aid to those who need assistance to participate.
Our Beginnings
USA North Soccer is both a club and a concept. Our roots stretch back to 1997 when a group of local players and teams wanted more training than what was available at that time in the Knoxville area. We began to realize that something more was needed in order to compete with areas like Atlanta, Nashville and Cincinnati. Our program developed from a Coerver - based Dutch soccer program inspired by legendary soccer coach Wiel Coerver (Voetbalschool Balcontrole Techniektraining). The North Area Soccer Training Academy began in 2007 and helped to furnish area clubs with many talented players and teams. The Academy became a stand-alone entity in the Fall of 2014 bringing greater opportunities to all players in North Knoxville and the surrounding communities.
